Jamison Rotz is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from South Central Pennsylvania. His most recent project is called The Programaddicts, a mixture of synth-pop, new wave and modern rock music. The Programaddicts have a song called “City Girls” in the new Miramax comedy, Adventureland. Jamsion Rotz was kind enough to discuss his music and being a musician in South Central Pennsylvania with The Global Cafe.

The Global Cafe was honored to talk with jazz legend Charlie Haden concerning his new CD Ramblin’ Boy. The CD is a retun to his country music roots. Charlie also talked with The Global Cafe about his exposure to music growing up and working on a musical project with his entire family.

This song comes from the first Global Cafe live in-studio session from 2004. The song is Arizona and it originally appeared on the CD Achilles Heel, which went all at the way to number 24 on the Billboard Album chart and number 8 on the CMJ Top 200 music chart the year it was released. It was not included on our first Live at The Global Cafe CD.
