Recently, amazing folk/jazz/bluegrass duo HoneyHoney stopped by WSYC FM’s Studio’s for an interview and a few songs on The Global Cafe. HoneyHoney are Suzanne Santo & Ben Jaffe, they met in Venice California and started one of the coolest folk acts working in music today. Suzanne & Ben also share some wonderful stories about their past job’s and also an amazing tale of their first live performances in California.


The Global Cafe was privileged to talk with two giants of the 1980’s punk rock movement, Bob Mould and John Doe. Both recently released amazing new CD’s, Bob Mould Life and Times and John Doe with The Sadies Country Club. Both Bob Mould and John Doe discuss their latest musical efforts and touch upon the music and origins of their original bands.

Tommy James and The Shondells are scheduled to perform at The H. Ric Luhr’s Performing Arts Center on April 3rd, 2009.

Jamison Rotz is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from South Central Pennsylvania. His most recent project is called The Programaddicts, a mixture of synth-pop, new wave and modern rock music. The Programaddicts have a song called “City Girls” in the new Miramax comedy, Adventureland. Jamsion Rotz was kind enough to discuss his music and being a musician in South Central Pennsylvania with The Global Cafe.
